We choose to be who we are today, tomorrow,
We stand by our decisions and mistakes,
We take pride in them,
We bask in the glory of each success,
Yet we forget where does all these come from,
Was it really from our efforts alone,
Was it from the tears and sweat that we shed?
Or was it from our Creators blessing,
From our pleas and tears that was heard by Him,
We thank only those who we see as a support,
Yet we neglect the only reason why we are here and still here now,
Our Creator.

We fight with every breath that we have,
We clasped our hands and pray,
For that every bond that we have shall last,
For each minute of our lives to be meaningful,
We hope for the best that lies ahead,
We try to envision the future,
For what shall be awaiting upon us,
For whom that will stay besides us then,
We wish for more time,
We want more things from life,
For each day that passes us by,
For memories left behind in the past,
We take a step into a new world each day,
We leave foot prints of yesterday,
For all that we've experienced,
For what made us who we are today,
We are the future,
We are the leaders of today,
For a new era,
For a new generation of Khalifah's,
We walk this path with pride,
We take our responsibilities by heart,
For those who falter,
For those who waver,
We'll extend our hands,
We'll not judge them for their mistakes,
For each person has a different fate,
For every life has their own story,
We can only encourage them and each other,
We give them words of comfort and guidance,
For those who believe in Allah,
For those who dream of Jannah,
We are entwined in the same faith,
We are soldiers of Islam.

That Winter The Wind Blows,
Suddenly brings back memories that are left forgotten,
Friendship that are frozen, unchanging and constant,
Meetings of fate are created by chances and opportunities,
Bonds of trust cemented over the years of relationship,
Words and actions that are often unspoken and never showed,
Are simply understood between us,
Years of separation,
Even though years pass us by,
Beauty fades, calls become less frequent,
Time and place creates obstacles,
But people who love by heart,
People who live by trust,
People who are connected by the bonds of Jannah,
Will always be together,
Connected at heart forever,
If the last time that we meet,
Was truly the last time,
Then, I'm glad I've had the honour and privilege of calling you my friend !

Jealousy is the best policy!

My frenemy, my best friend & my arch nemesis in life is no other than the green eyed monster!

Well this guy is actually a cute green eyed monster~

Back to the real green eyed monster, Mr. J a.k.a Mr Jealous,

He / She might come in many different kind of types and shapes,

Yet, somehow we often let them overpower ourselves,

It's not actually a bad thing since jealousy can also can provide motivation to a person,

I'm jealous with people who have a good relationship with our Creator,

I'm the typed that can be easily tempted and swayed by words & people,

It's hard to change when things have become a habit in you daily life,

It's like swimming in the opposite direction of a very strong current river,

My eyes are green with envy,

Forgive me for being such a clique and overly dramatic,

Life is full of drama, some may seem under rated episodes or frequently re-runs on the TV,

Some of the episodes are not quite well put together,

But then sometimes these drama are quite exciting to be relived,

And that Mr. J certainly loves to be the centre of attention,

So, I like Mr. J, because it encourages me to do better,

When you see things through a positive light,

Then your life will be full of laughter and happiness,

I perceive Mr. J as a part of who I am,

Accepting Mr. J as who I am,

 Is one of the way of getting know myself.

Which lane should I go?

In one point in your life you'll reach at a junction where you need to choose,
Either moving ahead towards the future or staying behind in the past,
That moment has arrived for me,
Right now I'm still confused on what I should do with my life,
I would be lying if I'm saying that I don't have any future plans that I've envisioned to happen,
Yet, here I am procrastinating on what I should do,
I know, only I can decide what kind of journey that I'll walk through,
The future with so many uncertainties and no guaranties,
The past that remains unnerved by anything,
The fear to enter a new world,
A world where I'll have to start from scratch,
A world where I'll have to find new friends and get to know other people,
It scares me.
