Equals.

Have been receiving invitations to my friends wedding,

What I envy is not the status, the reception,

But to find someone who is an equal to you,

That's the thing everyone's finding or maybe it's just me.

How silly it might seem for others,

For me that's something I've dreamed for a while in life,

Who doesn't want to have someone who will stand together with you throughout life,

The one who accepts for who ever you are in the past, present and future.

Here I am the one who always talks about love and what not.

Forgive me for always not being able to say them out loud.

But, never give people hope on a future that you can't provide.

Happy belated birthday to me!

A close friend of mine gives me a notebook every time I reached a certain milestone,
A birthday, graduation and many other things.
In return I also do the same things,
We are quite similar in some ways,
And I just realized that with every book that I've received marks a new chapter that I'll embark in life.
Maybe our way of thinking on life are equally the same.

I thank her and cherish our friendship the most out all the relationships that I have.
The one who was always there for me through the rough patches,
The one that I can always lean on and give me support when I need it.
