Pre-Wedding preparation !

A busy week of shopping here & there,
All in for the preparation of the upcoming weddings,
One on the 1st of September & another on November,
A week where one's whisk to buy laces, shoes, candy,
All the things that make up a wedding ceremony,
One day your at Jalan TAR,
Another day picking up marshmallows,
Tomorrow Mid Valley Megamall,
Busy, Busy till your Dizzy,
Intoxicated with other people's wedding preparation,
Being enthusiastic like the bride-to-be,

Buying rings, choosing colors for the fabric used to make the silhouette,
Painting walls, trimming laces, all for the day when you are united with your loved ones,
A day that unites two families as well,
A day of joy & celebration,
A day where every girl will shed tears of happiness,
Hearing the Akad that the guy will recite,
A day where half of your religion is fulfilled.

A day where you open a new chapter,
For two people instead of yourself,
A day where there's always someone who will always support you,
To be the best & be a better version of you,
A day where all the questions of "when are you getting married will stop",
The day where everyone will be praying that you'll live happily ever after,

Here and the Here After!

B-Day !

Today I turn to 23 years old,
an age where most of my friends are either in a relationship or engaged or married,
however, still at the tender age of 23 is still single,
still with the resolution of not having meaningless relationship,
so, the 23 me just wants to be a better person in Allah's eyes,
a better daughter, a better friend, a better sister,
hopefully all these things will fall in place.

InsyaAllah, my life will be more better then before,
more meaningful with each day that passes by,
and hopefully the many things that I dream for will come true!

Every little girl or grown woman dreams for a life like a fairy tale,
Each story might start differently,
But the ending is the same for anyone,
Everyone wishes for a happy ever after.
Either now or at the here after.

So, I am one of those girls.
Who doesn't want to have happiness here or at the here after?
Happy is a state of mind?
Happy with the love of having good friends that care.
Happy with the love from your family members.

There's no one in this world who doesn't want to be happy.
So, wait patiently for it to arrive.
It may arrive in little things that you take for granted.
But its there, just waiting for you to notice,
So, open your eyes & your heart towards the world.

You'll find it someday !
